Materials:  

This translation is written with PSP15 but can also be made with other PSP versions

 

 

Plugins:

  • <I.C.NET Software>   - Filters Unlimited 2.0
  • VM Distortion - Gear & Radiator III
  • &<BKg Designer sf10 I> - Centripedal Tile ***
  • Simple - Top Left Mirror
  • It@lian Editors Effect - Bordo con luci & Mosaico Tv
  • &Bkg Kaleidoscope> - Radial Mirror & @BlueBerry Pie    ***
  • Alien Skin Eye Candy 5  Impact - Extrude
  • Flaming Pear - Flexify 2
  • AAA Frames - Foto frame
 

Preparations:

  • Copy the Selection files to the Selections folder of PSP
  • Double Click on the Eye Candy Preset, it will be imported automatically
  • Save the Flexify Preset to your Hard drive

From PSP 14 and higher versions there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is a easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #000000

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #d9d3ce

Color Palette: Set your Foregroundcolor to Foreground/Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) -Style: Linear

Open a new transparent image of 700 x 500 px

Selections - Select All

Open Image "Msb_BG_18-07-2011_02" 

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste into Selection

Selections - Select None

Layers - Duplicate

Effects - Plugins - VM Distortion - Gear

Effects - Plugins - VM Distortion - Radiator II

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling

Layers - Duplicate

Edit - Repeat Duplicate Layer

Effects - Plugins - <I.C.NET Software>   - Filters Unlimited - &<BKg Designer sf10 I> - Centripedal Tile

 

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Image - Resize - 85% - Resize all layers not checked

Effects  3D Effects - DropShadow - Color: #000000

Repeat with the Vertical and Horizontal Offset to Minus 1

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Soft Light" and the Layer Opacity to 80

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk - Msb_Dare-Dreaming_01

Fill the Selection with the Backgroundcolor (Right Mouse Click)

Selections - Select None

efects - Plugins - Simple - Top Left Mirror

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Overlay" and the Layer Opacity to 90

Layers - Duplicate

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Layer Opacity of this layer to 62

Layer Palette: Lock the two bottom layers by clicking on the little eye.

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible

Open the Bottom Layers again

Effects - Distortion Effects - Wind - From Left checked - Wind Strength: 100

Edit  - Repeat enhance edges more

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Layer Opacity of this layer to44

Layers - Arrange - Bring to Top

Effects - Plugins - Flaming Pear - Flexify 2  - Clikc on the Red Arrow   and load Preset Meetje_Extrude_DareDreaming_1

Eraser tool  - Size to 75

Erase the top right part of the ball that is in the Selection, do not worry about erasing more than you should, the selection takes care of that!

Color Palette: Set your Foregroundcolor back to Color

Layer Palette - Click on the Fourth Layer from the Top

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selection Tool - Hexagon - Mode: Add (Shift)

Start at the Top Left corner of your image and make a Selection to the Bottom Right corner like this

Fill the Selection with the Foregroundcolor

Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds - Color: #ffffff

Selections - Select None

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Soft Light" and the Layer Opacity to 50

Color Palette: Set your Backgroundcolor to #ffffff

Set your Foregroundcolor to Foreground/Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) -Style: Linear
